Children Today’s Annual Run Walk!
Saturday, May 25, 2013 (Memorial Day Weekend)
On Saturday, May 25, 2013 (Memorial Day Weekend), Children Today will host its 5th Annual Run/Walk Fundraiser. The event, consisting of a 5k and a 10k, will take place at Marina Green Park in Downtown Long Beach (off Shoreline Drive on the Beach Bike Path).
Last year, over 1,000 people participated in our 4th annual Run-Walk fundraiser, helping to raise more than $50,000 for Children Today's Play House programs. Thank you to our amazing Race Committee, Dave & Su Erickson of Free Conference Call for their title sponsorship, and all of the volunteer groups that participated.
All participants will receive a free t-shirt, goodie bag, and access to a fun party with all your friends! This year we hope to increase our participation and raise $100,000. To accomplish these big goals we need your help. Whether you run the race, become a volunteer, or join in on the fundraising, each person can make a difference. Don't miss out on this fun event!
