Taste of the Coast
This year, the Long Beach Kid's Connection put on its 4th Annual Taste of the Coast Event benefiting Children Today, Long Beach Day Nursery, and New Life Beginnings. The event took place July 31st at the Belmont Pier and featured food from over 30 of Long Beach's finest eateries. Also featured were bands Delta Nove, Krossover, and the Golden Sands Chorus. For the kids there was Baloon Man Nater the Inflater and other fun activities. Many thanks to the various restaurants and sponsors for making this event such a huge success!
3rd Annual Run/Walk
Children Today's 3rd Annual Run/Walk took place Saturday July 16th at the Marina Green Park in Downtown Long Beach. There were over 600 participants this year as a result of our partnership with the Long Beach Sea Festival and Alfredo's Ultimate Beach Party. In addition to our 5K/10K, a half-mile children's "fun run" took place. We are most grateful to our title sponsor FreeConferenceCall.com and our event sponsors Vons and US Bank for all of their help!

Reggae Festival
Every year Long Beach City College's Cultural Affairs Council puts together an amazing Reggae Festival to benefit Children Today's programs. This year's event took place October 15th at the Pacific Coast Campus and featured gourmet food trucks, live music, and a variety of vendors. Children Today would like to thank LBCC and the Cultural Affairs Council for its dedication to helping families experiencing homelessness in Long Beach.

2011 Holiday Cheer
This year Holiday Cheer is being revamped to give you more reasons to celebrate. With a whole new look and feel Holiday Cheer is certain to be the highlight of the season.
