Host A FundraiserHosting an independent fundraiser is one of the best ways to volunteer time and effort to Children Today. This enables supporters to both raise money and increase public knowledge of homelessness and the need to nurture and educate children experiencing homelessness in Long Beach.

Taste of the Coast The members of
Long Beach Kids Connection hosted the 2nd annual Taste of the Coast benefit in August 2009 and donated $25,000 in proceeds to Children Today.
Bella Salon Hair Show The owners of Bella Salon in Naples hosted a Hair Design Show in the summer of 2008 and donated proceeds to Children Today. This is a creative way for businesses to support local charitable causes.
Birthday Parties Do you have a birthday coming up? Instead of gathering gifts, consider asking friends and family to make a donation to Children Today in your honor. This can also be done for weddings, anniversaries, and holidays.
Tour de Fred The Long Beach based Tour de Fred cycling club has provided monetary support by gathering members on a weekend afternoon for a fun, healthy bike ride followed by a home discussion and fundraiser for Children Today.
Johnny Reb’s Shell-Out Johnny Reb’s raised over $6,000 for Children Today by encouraging guests to “Shell-Out” pocket change at their four Los Angeles area restaurants. A little pocket change can go a very long way.
