Alice and Alisha – Getting Back on Track As a single mother, Alice faced an all too common problem. She needed to meet with case managers to locate a shelter for her and her daughter, Alisha, and to find a job. Her biggest barrier to turning her life around was finding suitable childcare for Alisha while she went on interviews and received counseling. Thanks to the support of area businesses and caring people like you, Alice was able to enroll Alisha at The Play House while she got her life back on track. After enrolling Alisha, Alice was able to find transitional housing and was recently hired as an intern for the Multi-Service Center.
