Cheryl and Caitlin – Overcoming Substance Abuse Cheryl first became a client of the Multi-Service Center in October, when she was staying in a sober living program. She recently completed the first steps of the program and was able to move to a less restrictive environment with her infant daughter, Caitlin. While Cheryl was taking the Life Skills class offered at the Multi-Service Center, she was able to enroll Caitlin at The Play House. While her mother was overcoming substance abuse and learning the skills needed outside of the sober living program, Caitlin was able to stay in a safe environment. Caitlin is now walking, talking and playing – everything a child should do.
