Thanks to your support during Long Beach Gives, these kits are now real and packed with essentials chosen by the very people who know our children and families best: our teachers and staff.
Each kit has been built to reflect the real needs and personalities of those we serve.
And now, we get to the best part: getting them into the hands of the children and families who need them!
Our teachers set out with shopping lists and our families in mind, knowing exactly what each needed and liked. They walked through each of the stores we visited hoping to find small surprises that they’d love.
From the first store run to the final packed tote, the entire experience was full of joy, laughter, and extremely rewarding. We even had a few tiny helpers trailing us along as we assembled each kit at the EcoHouse!
What you gave this Long Beach Gives wasn’t just funding for our kits, it was an expression of care and solidarity for the children and families in our community.
