Holiday Store Wrap-up: What You Helped Make Possible

The Holiday Store has officially come and gone, and it was everything we hoped it would be.

Early in the morning on the day of The Holiday Store, the doors to the Eco-House opened to welcome those we serve. Families arrived one by one, greeted by our staff and volunteers with smiles and a holiday atmosphere.

What they saw when they entered was the Holiday Store having fully come to life: toys, jackets, hygiene essentials, and gift cards, all organized with care and ready for them to choose what best fits their children.

And it was all possible because of you.

Watch our short recap of The Holiday Store below!

Why it Mattered

For the families we serve who often must navigate housing insecurity and child-welfare involvement, the holidays can bring added pressure and uncertainty. The Holiday Store is just one way in which we’re able to channel the care of our community into something practical and uplifting: helping to provide families and children in our care opportunities for them to choose what best suits them.

It's also a part of our larger continuum of care at Children Today, where we provide year-round support through our trauma-informed early childhood education and access to additional support services.

Thank You for Making the Holiday Store Possible 💛

The Holiday Store is built by community. It involves donors, local partners, volunteers, businesses, and supporters who chose to show up year after year. Your gifts filled the shelves, your support fueled our work, and through it, we created a meaningful holiday experience for those who need it most.
