Children Today provides trauma-informed child development and family support services to some of the most vulnerable members of our community; children and families experiencing homelessness or maltreatment. Since 1997, we have helped hundreds of families, and their young children achieve stability and success. Children Today is proud to support these families, who show us, every day, the meaning of resilience.

The mission of Children Today is to foster stability and success in children and families who are facing homelessness or who are involved in the child welfare system.  We do this by providing trauma-informed child development and family support services.

THE CHERESE MARI LAULHERE ECOHOUSE

The beautiful, state-of-the-art, Gold LEED-certified facility through which we provide trauma-informed care to some of the most vulnerable children in Long Beach, is dedicated in honor of Cherese Mari Laulhere.  Learn more about Cherese and the Cherese Mari Laulhere EcoHouse. ​
