They like rubbing the paint between their fingers, feeling it's silky texture and seeing what happens when it's applied to paper...or in this case, bubble wrap. Sensory activities allow infants to show their creativity. However, more than that, exploring new mediums introduces infants to cognitive concepts include science and language. The best part of any activity is when you can share the experience with someone else. Here, 9 and 11-month old peers have the opportunity to engage socially while creating their sensory masterpiece.
